Eindhoven, The Netherlands - 05 Sep. 2025: TracXon, a deep-tech spin-off from TNO, has secured €4.75 million ($5.50 million) in seed funding to accelerate the industrialization of hybrid printed electronics (HPE). This breakthrough technology offers a sustainable, resource-efficient alternative to traditional printed circuit boards (PCBs), one of the most polluting components in electronics. The round was led by DeepTechXL, with participation of Invest-NL and the BrabantDevelopment Agency (BOM). BOM continues its support following a pre-seed investment extended to TracXon.

EINDHOVEN, The Netherlands, 5 June 2024 – MicroAlign, a spin-off from the Eindhoven University of Technology, announced today that it has closed €1 million in seed-funding to accelerate the commercialization of high-accuracy fiber arrays. The funding round was led by the Dutch venture capital firms DeepTechXL and PhotonVentures, reflecting investors’ strong belief in the company’s vision to develop a unique and crucial product for the photonics industry.
SuperLight Photonics, a spin-off from the University of Twente, is developing a wideband laser that can serve as a 'light source' in various measurement and detection applications. Today, the company announces the completion of a seed investment round. The round is led by Dutch Deep Tech investor DeepTechXL in collaboration with Oost NL. With this investment, SuperLight Photonics will further develop its platform technology into unique products and (sub)systems.
